Job Description

The Associate Art Director is someone with strong conceptual thinking, design expertise, and the ability to collaborative with many teams. In this role, you will bring ideas to life helping shape the creative direction of client work. This individual will be a key contributor to ensuring design excellence while working closely with cross-functional teams.

NOTE: Only candidates within a 120 mile radius from Morristown, NJ will be considered for this position.

EXPERIENCE:

• 2-5 years creative experience; healthcare agency experience highly preferred
• Experience in Managed Care/Managed Markets highly desired
• College degree and/or equivalent work experience required
• Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills

LEADERSHIP/MENTORING:

• May join/support pitch presentations

CLIENT/STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT:

• Supports account with tactical creative ideas and development for clients
• Develops and maintains independent relationships with all dept and co-workers
• Recognize opportunities for organic growth and work w/Creative lead

CREATIVE DESIGN FUNCTIONS:

• Visual communication required
• Design execution required
• Problem-solving required
• Ensure brand consistency
• Creative Collaboration is essential
• Creative Support & Lead
• Keep up with trends

WORKFLOW MANAGEMENT:

• Attend internal kickoff meetings
• Review & provide any feedback
• Work within allocated time/budget and provide feedback when needed
• Attend & actively participate in internal kickoff meetings

• Recognize internal challenges; raise a red flag for manager to address
• Delegate as needed & recognize when projects require additional support from studio or internal team
• Proactively gains a basic knowledge of subject matter and seeks guidance when needed

SKILLSET:

• Adobe Creative Suite required
• Microsoft 365 Office required
• Digital Prototyping & Competency highly preferred
• Engage in internal presentations
• AI Knowledge starts to gain more understanding
