Job Description

Evanston (Dentologie) dental office is seeking a kind and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join the team! We are located at 1601 Sherman, Suite B, Evanston, IL 60201, near a variety of brunch and dinner locations as well as shopping at Target and Whole Foods.

The Evanston office uses Dentrix Ascend as the DPMS, the latest model of iTero scanners, Piezo scalers, intraoral cameras, Dexis sensors, and Gemini Diode lasers. Evanston uses top-end Hu Friedy instruments with an on-site Nordent sharpening machine.  

As a full-time member of an incredible hygiene team, you can expect: 

• Day 1 support from the Lead Hygienist in early career training with continued mentorship/growth opportunities at Dentologie.  
• Excellent compensation: $50-$57/hr (depending on experience) 
• $3,500 sign-on bonus* 
• Monthly bonus plan: earn up to an EXTRA $1,000 per month (additional $7/hr)!

Schedule: 

• Monday: 7:30am-2:30pm
• Tuesday: 1:30pm-8:30pm 
• Wednesday: 7:30am-2:30pm 
• Thursday: 1:30pm-8:30pm 
• Friday: 7:30am-3:30pm 

Responsibilities:  

• Provide patient care in all dental periodontal services in which you are licensed to perform.  
• Assist dentist chairside during examinations. 
• Provide a 10-star Patient experience.   
• Contribute positively to an engaging company culture.  
• Prepares instruments and materials for procedures for your patients.  
• Make patients as comfortable as possible in the dental chair. 
• Instruct patients on pre- and post-operative procedures and provide oral health education.  
• Proficient in obtaining dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos.  
• Keep treatment records such as charting existing restorations, periodontal charting as well as planned treatment.  
• Follow infection control protocol by preparing instruments, equipment, and ops.   

Education and Experience:  

• Registered Dental Hygiene degree from an accredited program.  
• Active Registered Dental Hygiene license within the state of Illinois.   
• Local Anesthesia certified.
