We are seeking an individual to join our team of caregivers. Candidates must be motivated to serve as a part-time caregiver for an energetic, social, developmentally-disabled, Deaf young woman. Privately contracted with the family. There will be occasional travel opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to converse in American Sign Language (ASL)
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to follow behavior plans
Must be able to facilitate communication between a Deaf woman and
non-signers
Must have driver’s license
Must have COVID-19 vaccination
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
One year of American Sign Language (ASL) or equivalent life
