Position: Receiving Associate

Location: Moorpark, CA

Pay: $19.00-$20.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

Overview:

A well-established distribution company in Moorpark is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to support warehouse operations. This role focuses on accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming products and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and unload incoming shipments
• Verify product quantities and inspect for accuracy and quality
• Match items to purchase orders and record receipts in the system
• Use RF scanners, computers, and printers to process and label received materials
• Organize and store received goods in designated warehouse areas
• Communicate any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area
• Support inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse receiving or logistics
• Proficient in basic computer applications and data entry
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse systems (UPS Worldship a plus)
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Dependable and punctual work ethic
