Regional Maintenance Supervisor

Tropicana Properties is looking for a skilled and motivated Regional Maintenance Supervisor to take charge of multiple multifamily communities across our portfolio. This is a dynamic leadership role for someone who thrives on solving problems, developing teams, and ensuring our residents enjoy safe, well-maintained, and welcoming communities every day.
We believe great leaders should be rewarded: in addition to competitive pay, you’ll receive a $1,500 bonus after successfully completing your 90-day probationary period.
Compensation & Benefits
• $25.00 up to #30.00 per hour, depending on experience
• $1,500 bonus after 90-day probationary period

All applicants must bring proven experience in all aspects of property management maintenance. You will be required to pass a broad test of essential skills — from something as simple as rekeying locks to more advanced tasks like appliance repair. Most importantly, we’re looking for a proven leader who can inspire, mentor, and train maintenance teams to excellence.Key Responsibilities
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs, repairs, and upcoming projects
• Organize, plan, and direct all activities related to maintenance, repairs, and improvements across assigned multi-family properties
• Support urgent facility needs by coordinating resources and managing maintenance requests
• Prepare weekly on-call schedules, allocate work, and distribute materials as needed
• Oversee emergency service calls and ensure follow-through on specialty requests
• Direct special projects impacting properties and equipment in the Tropicana portfolio
• Supervise new make-readies, renovations, space planning, and landscape projects
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and OSHA safety regulations, including fire and safety inspections
• Evaluate property conditions and oversee preventative maintenance programs
• Recruit, supervise, and train maintenance technicians
• Control and reduce costs associated with maintenance and repairs
• Oversee maintenance technicians and outside contractors during repairs, installations, or maintenance work
• Assist with the development and compliance of maintenance budgets
• Track and monitor inventory of materials and equipment
• Coordinate large-scale projects and major repairs
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
• Minimum three years of proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or similar role
• Experience in all aspects of property management maintenance
• Ability to pass a board test covering vital trade and repair skills (from rekeying to appliance repair)
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance
• Ability to track costs and manage performance metrics
• Excellent planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
• High school diploma; vocational school degree or coursework preferred
• Professional certifications (CAMT or HVAC) preferred
• Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and basic tools required
