Position: Security Guard

Locations: Sparks, NV 89437

Pay Rate: $23.46/hour (plus supplemental 7% travel/commute bonus)

Hours/Shifts: 8pm-4am, 4pm-12am, or 12am-8am (position includes weekend shifts, but guaranteed 2 consecutive days off each week)

Duration: Full Time Equivalent (FTE)

Must Haves:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle report
• Ability to pass a background and full panel drug test
• 3+ years of customer-facing experience
• Interest or experience in physical security
• Experience with Microsoft suites
• Ability to write/create detailed reports
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Plusses:

• Law enforcement, military, security, and/or dispatch experience

Day-to-Day:

The Security Guard is responsible for patrolling and monitoring facilities, controlling access points, maintaining incident logs, writing reports, communicating with staff and customers, escorting tours/vendors, responding to alarms and irregularities, and directing traffic.
