Job Description

We are looking for a positive, driven, and detail-oriented Supply Chain Procurement Specialist to join our growing team on our mission of being the #1 Probiotic Supplement Company in the US. This person will be responsible for managing the flow of materials to ensure timely delivery, quality, and competitive pricing . This person will report to the Sr. Supply Chain Manager.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in a similar role. They have an impeccable eye for detail and are incredibly organized and proactive.

What You’ll Do:

• Work alongside contract manufacturing (CMO) partners to support production of finished products. 
• Track order acknowledgements and maintain a clean open order report to have a strong understanding of open order statuses.
• Oversee raw material purchase orders across various suppliers.
• Monitor inventory and forecast needs based on production schedules.
• Monitor component defects and associated credit returns.
• Manage and mitigate obsolescent or expiring inventory. 
• Maintain standard costing across all raw material, finished goods, and packaging materials. 
• Raw material sourcing to meet company specifications.
• Negotiations across suppliers.
• Develop, plan, and implement sourcing strategies which includes finding innovative solutions to create enhanced value and reduced risk in stockouts.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams.

Job Requirements:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, accounting, or a related field is often a minimum requirement. 
• Work Experience: 2-3 years experience in purchasing, procurement, or related roles .

• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, forecast trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve supply chain issues.
• Organizational Skills: Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate purchase orders and inventory management.
• Strong Advance working knowledge of Google Sheets and Excel 
• Self-Motivation: Highly self-motivated and able to work independently. 
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and all levels of employees. 
• Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to handle stress and meet deadlines.
