WABO Certified Welder

📍 Location: Spokane, WA

💲 Pay: $25-$35 - based on experience

🕒 Schedule: Full-time

📅 Duration: Ongoing

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced WABO Certified Welders to join our team on upcoming industrial and structural projects. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing high-quality welds in accordance with WABO certification standards and be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural and code welding in accordance with WABO standards and project specifications
• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints and detailed drawings
• Operate and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with codes
• Assist with fabrication, fitting, and assembly as needed
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements , and company policies

Qualifications:

• Active WABO Welder Certification (required)
• Proven experience in structural or industrial welding
• Ability to pass site-specific weld tests if required
• Strong understanding of welding symbols, codes, and safety standards
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core welding
• Prior work on bridges, heavy structural steel, or industrial sites
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1 or other structural welding codes
