Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

Location: Shanghai

1.Disease Area Expertise & Target Assessment

• Conduct in-depth biological assessments of therapeutic targets across disease areas (including oncology, immuno-oncology, autoimmune diseases, metabolic disorders, renal diseases and infectious diseases).
• Support new target proposal development through rigorous biological validation.

2.Early-Stage Development of Biologics

• Co-lead the early-stage development of biologics (therapeutic antibodies/proteins) in collaboration with protein engineering teams.
• Design and implement in vitro/in vivo assay systems rooted with target biology.

3.Translational Research

• Partner with preclinical/clinical teams to support IND submissions, mechanism-of-action studies, drug combination strategies, and indication expansion.
• Provide scientifically rigorous biological rationale for clinical trial design and execution.

4.External Collaboration Management

• Drive translational research initiatives through strategic collaborations with CROs and academic institutions.

Qualification Requirements:

1. Ph.D. in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field is preferred
2. Expertise in cellular and molecular biology, with deep knowledge of disease biology across therapeutic areas including oncology, immuno-oncology, autoimmune diseases, metabolic disorders, renal diseases, or infectious diseases.
3. Strong literature review and critical analysis skills .
4. Demonstrated success in collaborative team environments

5. Professional fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken) .
